Volleyball Game Preview: Sierra Timberwolves vs. Manteca Buffaloes + How To Watch

The Sierra Timberwolves will face off against the Manteca Buffaloes at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Sierra didn't have quite enough to beat Central Catholic and fell 3-2. The Timberwolves haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Sierra actually scored more points across those five sets (100-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 17-25, 17-25, 25-20, 15-11.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Manteca, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Patterson on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Buffaloes in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Manteca never let Patterson on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-8, 25-10.

Sierra's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Manteca, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
