Baseball Recap: Delcambre Wins Going Away Against Comeaux

Delcambre posted their biggest victory since April 5, 2024 on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Comeaux Spartans as the Delcambre Panthers made off with a 13-7 win. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 12-2 victory the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2018.

Andre' Venable was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Rix Robin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

The win got Delcambre back to even at 1-1. As for Comeaux, they are on a 27-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Delcambre will have a chance to go back-to-back against Comeaux: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
