Marcus let Coppell stack five runs on them in the seventh inning on Thursday but luckily Marcus prevailed anyway. The Marauders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 victory over the Cowboys. The Marauders haven't had any issues with the Cowboys recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Marcus' victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Coppell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-13-1.

As of now, neither Marcus nor the Cowboys have any future games scheduled.
