Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-5 to the Washburn Millers. If the Teddies were looking for revenge after losing 13-0 to the Millers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Roosevelt has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Washburn, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Coming up, Roosevelt will look to defend their home field on Friday against Camden at 7:00 p.m. As for Washburn, they will venture away from home to face off against Owatonna at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
