Soccer Game Preview: Scituate vs. Pembroke

The Scituate Sailors will head out on the road to face off against the Pembroke Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Scituate is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to six goals on Monday, they were much more limited against Hingham on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Harbormen by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Scituate can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 139th, while Hingham are ranked 39th).

Meanwhile, Pembroke hasn't lost a match since September 4th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Whitman-Hanson Regional.

Pembroke's win bumped their record up to 5-1-1. As for Scituate, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1.
