Nico Denise made a difference for Albertus Magnus. The senior ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored eight touchdowns on the season.
When the two teams played each other last season, Pawling came away with a 16-6 victory.
The loss comes after Albertus Magnus defeated Blind Brook 32-0 last week. The victory was a step in the right direction for PHS, which was coming off a 27-0 defeat at the hands of Dobbs Ferry in its previous game. The loss snapped AM's 3-game winning streak.
Pawling (1-3) will play a Section 1 C/D game against Bronxville next week, while Albertus Magnus (3-1) will take on Rye Neck also in a Section 1 C/D game.
