Notre Dame was handed a seven-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Farragut Admirals 2-1. Notre Dame have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Farragut, too.

Joshua Bonk and Dax Brown scored both of Notre Dame's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Notre Dame's win bumped their record up to 6-3-1. As for Farragut, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-2.

Notre Dame and Farragut should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. The Fighting Irish (ranked 30th) will meet St. Andrews-Sewanee (ranked 216th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Farragut will challenge William Blount at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (8 vs. 170).
