Volleyball Game Preview: Rock Canyon Jaguars vs. Valor Christian Eagles

Rock Canyon hasn't had much luck against Valor Christian recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Jaguars will square off against the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Rock Canyon comes in on five and Valor Christian on ten.

Rock Canyon is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Ralston Valley.

Meanwhile, Valor Christian faced Chaparral in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wolverines.

Valor Christian's win bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Rock Canyon, their victory bumped their record up to 23-3.

Rock Canyon couldn't quite get it done against Valor Christian in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Jaguars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
