Soccer Recap: Xenia vs. Greenville
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tippecanoe, Xenia was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the Greenville Green Wave onto the board and left with a 4-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Buccaneers needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.
They hit Greenville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Jaelyn Moore (2),
Brooklynn Yates, and
Nadia Lewis.
The victory got Xenia back to even at 2-2-1. As for Greenville, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
Xenia will head out to face off against Wayne at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Greenville, they will challenge Kenton Ridge at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
