Baseball Recap: Niagara Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Niagara's offense. They came up short against the Oconto Blue Devils on Monday, falling 11-0. The Badgers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Niagara saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Neuens, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Niagara's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Oconto, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Niagara will welcome North Dickinson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oconto, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Wausaukee at 4:30 p.m.
