Soccer Recap: North Gaston Takes a Loss

North Gaston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Crest Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Crest this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in March.

North Gaston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Crest, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Gaston will venture away from home to challenge South Point at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Point will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something North Gaston surely won't give up without a fight. As for Crest, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Kings Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th.
