Pioneer is 9-1 against Frontier since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Pioneer Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Frontier Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Frontier took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Pioneer, who comes in off a win.

Pioneer is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 61-54 victory over Frankfort on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Frontier was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 45-40 to Twin Lakes.

Frontier's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Pioneer, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Pioneer was able to grind out a solid win over Frontier when the teams last played back in January of 2024, winning 57-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pioneer since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
