Softball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-3 to the Franklin Quakers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Quakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 26-7 two weeks ago.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Franklin, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cleveland is set to square off against their familiar foe Ingraham at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Franklin will take on rival Rainier Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
