Lowell had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Byron Center Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Arrows have posted against the Bulldogs since August 21, 2021.

Ellery Bieneman paced Lowell's offense, picking up ten kills. Bieneman got some help from Rylie Barriger and her 19 assists.

Lowell's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Byron Center, their loss dropped their record down to 6-2.

After both having extra time off, Lowell and Coopersville will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Byron Center, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Portage Central at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
