Baseball Recap: Green Forest Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Green Forest had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against Lead Hill as they made off with a 10-2 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Green Forest also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Ryne Stone was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Mason Meador, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Green Forest's win bumped their record up to 6-17. As for Lead Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

As of now, neither Green Forest nor Lead Hill have any future games scheduled.
