Football Recap: St. Joseph Academy Takes a Loss

St. Joseph Academy and Foundation Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but St. Joseph Academy had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 28-14 to the Lions. The Flashes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Foundation Academy had a senior duo take command as Noah McMullen picked up 150 receiving yards and one touchdown and Braydon Marks threw for 215 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes.

St. Joseph Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-1. As for Foundation Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

St. Joseph Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Foundation Academy, they will face off against Lake Highland Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
