Preview: Fort Edward Flying Forts vs. Northville Falcons
The Fort Edward Flying Forts will be playing in front of their home fans against the Northville Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Fort Edward is out to stop a 13-game streak of losses at home.
Last Wednesday, Fort Edward came up short against Argyle and fell 49-36. While losing is never fun, Fort Edward can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 600th, while Argyle is ranked 298th).
Northville suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Wednesday. They fell just short of Fort Plain by a score of 41-38. Northville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Fort Edward now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Northville, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
Things could have been worse for Fort Edward, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 51-34 loss to Northville when the teams last played back in February of 2019.
