Basketball Recap: Chase Comes Up Short

Chase was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 36th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Pretty Prairie Bulldogs and fell 52-22. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Kats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-17 last Friday.

Kaylea Robinson had a dynamite game for Pretty Prairie, going 9 for 14 on her way to 21 points along with four steals and three blocks. With that strong performance, Robinson is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Claire Miller was another key player, putting up four points in addition to five rebounds and three blocks.

Chase's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Pretty Prairie, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.

Chase has already played their next match, a 90-20 loss against St. John on the 4th. As for Pretty Prairie, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-40 defeat against Caldwell on the 1st.
