Uintah lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Orem, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Utes never let the Tigers get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Utes, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Not much got past Abbie Davis, who gave up just three hits to keep Orem off the board.

At the plate, Kynlee Bristol was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Pope, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Uintah lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Orem didn't launched any home runs.

Uintah has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.4 runs over those games. As for Orem, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 14-9 record.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Uintah is set to take on their familiar foe Timpanogos at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Orem will square off against rival Payson at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
