Baseball Recap: Hozho Academy Comes Up Short

Hozho Academy saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 17-3 to the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors.

Hozho Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Ternes, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Hozho Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Santa Teresa, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hozho Academy will venture away from home to face off against Shiprock at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Santa Teresa, they will head out to challenge Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
