For the second straight game, Fairfax will face off against North. The Stampede will host the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fairfax is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.3 runs per game this season.

While Fairfax's victory against North wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Stampede's pitcher stepped up to hand the Mustangs a 2-0 shutout on Monday. The Stampede haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Not much got past Seilah Sauceda, who gave up just four hits and racked up six Ks to keep North off the board.

On the hitting side, Fairfax saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaslene Soberano, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases. Soberano has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Alexa Quiroz also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

North has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Fairfax, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
