Basketball Game Preview: Geneseo Blue Devils vs. Le Roy Oatkan Knights

The Geneseo Blue Devils will venture away from home to square off against the Le Roy Oatkan Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Geneseo is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Letchworth by a score of 50-40 on Wednesday. The Blue Devils didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Meanwhile, Le Roy beat Mount Morris 55-46 on Wednesday. Given the Oatkan Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 320th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 667th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Le Roy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Geneseo, their record is now 6-12.

Geneseo ended up a good deal behind Le Roy in their previous meeting back in January, losing 41-26. Can Geneseo avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
