Hoover won against Oak Mountain on Thursday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Buccaneers came out on top against the Chilton County Tigers by a score of 6-2. The win was familiar territory for the Buccaneers, who have now won three contests in a row.

Hoover's record now sits at 12-10. As for Chilton County, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 23-5-2 record.

Looking ahead, Hoover will challenge Rehobeth at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Rebels' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Buccaneers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Chilton County, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-8 victory against Montgomery Catholic on the 4th.
