Fremont is 8-2 against West Noble since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will square off against the Chargers at 5:30 p.m. Fremont is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Fremont fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Woodlan on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Warriors since on Monday.

Fremont saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Foster, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Ben Ford was another, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Meanwhile, West Noble came up short against Wawasee on Saturday and fell 10-7. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jordan Eash was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Button, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Fremont has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-9 record this season. As for West Noble, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Fremont has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like West Noble struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Everything went Fremont's way against West Noble when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Fremont made off with a 6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
