Soccer Game Preview: Gulliver Prep vs. Columbus

The Gulliver Prep Raiders will face off against the Columbus Explorers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Gulliver Prep's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Gulliver Prep saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They and Boca Raton finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Columbus waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Mavericks get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Considering Columbus have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jorge Gonzalez-Tello and Onesimus Stockton scored all five of Columbus' goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Gulliver Prep's draw gives them a new season record of 6-2-2. As for Columbus, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2-1.
