Volleyball Recap: Coastal Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Coastal Academy came into Saturday's matchup having lost 15 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Southwest EC Eagles 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Stingrays have posted since March 5, 2024.

Coastal Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Southwest EC, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Coastal Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Maranatha Christian at 5:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Southwest EC, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will challenge Indio at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
