Baseball Game Preview: Southeastern Mustangs vs. Pleasant Grove Spartans

The Southeastern Mustangs will challenge the Pleasant Grove Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southeastern is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Southeastern came up short against Whitesburg Christian Academy and fell 5-1.

Meanwhile, Pleasant Grove didn't have quite enough to beat Fultondale on Saturday and fell 6-4.

Zion Barney was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Pleasant Grove's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 2-4 when he doesn't). Christian Fikes also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
