Baseball Recap: LaVille Comes Up Short

LaVille fell victim to Jimtown and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Jimmies by a score of 1-0. The loss continues a trend for the Lancers in their meetings with the Jimmies: they've now lost four in a row.

LaVille saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andre Gonzales, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

LaVille's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Jimtown, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. LaVille will take on Fairfield at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Jimtown, they will square off against Elkhart Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
