Basketball Recap: Butler Bears vs. Western Warriors

In what's become a running theme this season, the Butler Bears gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They claimed a resounding 91-18 victory over Western on the road. While fans of Butler might be used to big wins, the 73-point margin marked the team's biggest victory yet this season.

Despite the loss, Western still got an impressive performance from Leslie Bright, who scored 14 points along with two steals. That was a full 77.8% of Western's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Butler is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Western, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-15.

Butler will head out on the road to face off against the Rockets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Western, they will be playing at home against the Red Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seneca is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
