Volleyball Recap: Alyssa Ramirez's Big Game Can't Quite Lead South San Antonio over Jay

South San Antonio lost against Jay back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bobcats fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1.

South San Antonio lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Alyssa Ramirez, who had 41 digs and ten assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last nine times she's played. Isabela Sanford was another key player, getting 13 digs and two aces.

South San Antonio now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Jay, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
