Volleyball Recap: Cambridge Beats Bertrand for Their Fourth Straight Win

Cambridge entered their tilt with Bertrand on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 2-0. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Brooklyn Holtze paced Cambridge's offense, picking up six kills. Holtze got some help from Mallory Springer and her 11 assists. Springer also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Elisabeth Kubik, racking up two apiece.

Cambridge's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Bertrand, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Cambridge will take on St. Patrick's on Tuesday. As for Bertrand, they have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Alma on the 4th.
