Softball Recap: Liberty's Run of Six Straight Wins Now Over

Liberty and Logan squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Liberty had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 8-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Raiders were not able to get on the board.

Liberty saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kanyon Green, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

With the loss, Liberty broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-9. As for Logan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Liberty didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 defeat against Petersburg on the 28th. As for Logan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Oak Glen on the 28th.
