Basketball Game Preview: New Life Academy Eagles vs. St. Agnes Aggies

The New Life Academy Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the St. Agnes Aggies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Tuesday, New Life Academy was beaten by St. Croix Prep 80-53. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered against the Lions since March 9, 2021.

Meanwhile, St. Agnes ended up a good deal behind Blake on Tuesday and lost 54-39. The game marked the Aggies' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

New Life Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for St. Agnes, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
