It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Trinity Episcopal had no problem doing just that on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves a 3-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for Trinity Episcopal, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gabby Sauvigne and Eila Crumlish scored all three of Trinity Episcopal's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Trinity Episcopal's win bumped their record up to 7-10-4. As for Saint John Paul the Great Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Collegiate will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something Trinity Episcopal surely won't give up without a fight.
