Chaffee is 9-1 against St. Vincent since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Red Devils will look to defend their home field against the Indians at 4:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

St. Vincent will be up against a hot Chaffee team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Red Devils had just enough and edged out Portageville 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Devils have posted since March 31st.

Meanwhile, St. Vincent won against Meadow Heights on Thursday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Indians beat the Panthers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Chaffee pushed their record up to 20-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for St. Vincent, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.

Chaffee beat St. Vincent 8-4 in their previous meeting back in April. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
