Baseball Recap: Allegany-Limestone Gators vs. Fillmore Eagles
Allegany-Limestone gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Fillmore Eagles and snuck past 4-3.
For Fillmore's part, James Hillman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-3 with three stolen bases and an RBI. Jude Beardsley was another key contributor, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Allegany-Limestone will take on Otto-Eldred at 4:30 p.m. on April 4th. As for Fillmore, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Andover/Whitesville Central at 5:00 p.m. on April 9th.
