Football Recap: Valley View Takes a Loss

Valley View fell victim to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 27-0 loss at the hands of the Javelinas. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Valley View's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley View will welcome Port Isabel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest, they will be playing at home against Corpus Christi Moody at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
