Recap: Rolla vs. Hillcrest
The last time they met ? Hillcrest were the 38-34 winner over Rolla. This time around? They had no such luck. Hillcrest were completely outmatched, falling 0-48 to Rolla. The state rankings had actually given Hillcrest a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Junior Jack Hounsom, who rushed for 92 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Rolla's success. They also got a significant boost from senior Trey Quick, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 151 yards. The game brought them to 2-1 and dropped Hillcrest to a mirror-image 1-2.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Hillcrest take on Waynesville at 7:00 PM. As for Rolla, they will face off against Parkview.
