Football Recap: Tiftarea Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tiftarea Academy had lost five straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-5 to make it six. They fell 21-13 to the Deerfield-Windsor Knights. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Although Tiftarea Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Caden Grier and Seth Royal.

As for Deerfield-Windsor, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. The 21-point effort marked their lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Gabe Daniel was his usual excellent self, picking up 129 receiving yards, while also punching in one TD on the ground.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Tiftarea Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Brookwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Deerfield-Windsor will challenge rival Valwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Lane Sceals and Tayt Snellgrove.
