Baseball Recap: Bound Brook Comes Up Short

Bound Brook fell victim to Delaware Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Terriers. The Crusaders haven't had much luck with the Terriers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Bound Brook saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julian Chacon, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Bound Brook's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Delaware Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6-1 record this season.

Delaware Valley will venture away from home to challenge South Hunterdon at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.73 runs per game on average), something the Terriers will no doubt try to take advantage of. Bound Brook will be paying especially close attention to Delaware Valley's contest: after Delaware Valley faces off against South Hunterdon, they'll take on Bound Brook again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
