Volleyball Recap: Frontier Regional Red Hawks vs. Longmeadow Lancers        
        
		
             It was a good run, but  Frontier Regional unfortunately witnessed the end of their  eight-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Longmeadow Lancers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Hawks of the  3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 22-25, 25-16,  25-23.
 Frontier Regional lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Hannah Davis, who  had 15  digs. Davis is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in the last nine games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Among those leading the charge was   Ari Sluis, who  had 16  digs and three  aces. The team also got some help courtesy of  Chloe Scott, who  had 11  digs, four  kills,  and two  aces.
 Frontier Regional's loss  ended  a  six-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-5. As for Longmeadow, the  victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.
 Frontier Regional will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Minnechaug Regional  at 7:15  p.m. Frontier Regional will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak  alive. As for Longmeadow, they will head out on the road to  take on  Westfield  at 5:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Longmeadow is facing Westfield at the right time seeing as Westfield is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
