Volleyball Recap: Greater Nanticoke Area Has No Trouble Against Hazleton Area

Greater Nanticoke Area made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Hazleton Area, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Greater Nanticoke Area put the hurt on Hazleton Area with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Greater Nanticoke Area not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Hazleton Area to exactly 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-16.

Jayden Wasielewski paced Greater Nanticoke Area's offense, picking up eight kills. Wasielewski got some help from Brady Rushton and his 25 assists. Wasielewski also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Zachary Zubritski, racking up three apiece.

Greater Nanticoke Area has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
