Soccer Recap: Vidalia's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Vidalia's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lanier County Bulldogs, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Vidalia as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Ivy Berry and Lilly Menard scored both of Vidalia's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Vidalia's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Lanier County, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Looking ahead, Vidalia is taking a road trip to face off against Southeast Bulloch at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Southeast Bulloch will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Vidalia surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lanier County, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 10-0 loss against Worth County on the 17th.
