Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lutheran). They put the hurt on the Annapolis Cougars with a sharp 69-48 victory on Wednesday. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 52-47 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Simon Hoeft had a dynamite game for Lutheran, going 5-for-10 en route to 19 points and seven boards. Nathan Yakobe was another key player, going 7-for-11 on his way to 14 points.

Lutheran has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-15 record this season. Annapolis is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-15.

Lutheran has already played their next matchup (against Hope Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Annapolis, they will be taking part in a tournament against Henry Ford Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
