Derby put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Dodge City Demons 71-50. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-23.

Leading Derby to victory were Cayden Titus and Avant Riley. Titus went 5 for 8 en route to 13 points along with seven boards and three steals, while Riley went 7 of 11 on his way to 19 points. That's the most rebounds Titus has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cale Clingan, who posted eight points and three blocks.

Derby pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Dodge City, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Derby has already played their next game, a 67-57 win against Junction City on the 24th. As for Dodge City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 64-40 defeat against Bishop Carroll on the 24th.
