When it comes to explaining why Heritage lost, don't look at Ryder Strand. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 19 points and 15 boards. The matchup was Strand's fifth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Hargett, who posted 12 points.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 2-3. As for John Carroll, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Heritage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 82-66 win against Wakefield on the 2nd. As for John Carroll, they have also already played their next contest, a 67-66 defeat against Ambassador Christian School on the 29th.
