If Cordova wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Collierville, they should've done a better job of containing Autry, Lawrence. The Dragons claimed a resounding 58-0 win over the Wolves thanks in part to Lawrence, who rushed for 40 yards and two TDs, and also caught one touchdown. He has become a key player for Collierville: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

Collierville's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB nine times. In that department, Fife Awolowo was the leader with two sacks.

Collierville is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.8 points on average over those games. As for Cordova, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Collierville has already played their next contest, a 49-27 win against Houston on the 30th. As for Cordova, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 35-0 loss against Franklin on the 31st.
