Softball Recap: Southern Columbia Area Comes Up Short

Southern Columbia Area fell victim to Warrior Run and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Defenders by a score of 1-0. The Tigers have struggled against the Defenders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Southern Columbia Area's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Warrior Run, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.

Looking ahead, Southern Columbia Area will square off against Northwest Area at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Rangers have now posted at least ten runs in their last seven matches. As for Warrior Run, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-2 victory against Montgomery on the 2nd.
