Metro Tech is 0-5 against North since February of 2020 but things could change on Friday. Solis Coker was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and nine unearned) runs off 11 hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Natalie Figueroa, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI.
