Volleyball Recap: Fayetteville-Perry Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Fayetteville-Perry was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Peebles on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rockets lost 3-0 to the North Adams Green Devils on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Rockets have suffered since October 19, 2024.

Tegan Combs paced Fayetteville-Perry's offense, picking up ten kills. Combs got some help from Maya Murphy and her 23 assists. Ellie Shiffer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Morgan Wheeler was a one-woman wrecking crew For North Adams. as she had 19 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Wheeler has posted since back in August.

Fayetteville-Perry's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for North Adams, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Fayetteville-Perry will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on East Clinton at 6:30 p.m. on October 1. As for North Adams, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Fairfield on the 19th.
